The Centre of Art and Sustainability of the Forn de la Calç de Calders is a meeting point between culture, history and sustainability. Surrounded by nature, in central Catalonia, we have recovered some old Lime Kilns due to their uniqueness, state of conservation and architectural and industrial value, with the aim of establishing a centre for contemporary art and sustainability in the Bages region, with the kilns as the backbone of the entire project.

The Centre is dedicated to the research, production and exhibition of contemporary cultural and artistic projects in all their conceptual and formal aspects, especially those related to ecology and the natural environment, taking into account the physical characteristics of the place: an old quarry, a well preserved natural environment, a good relationship between nature and human activity, and especially the uniqueness of the lime kilns.
