Dry Stone Heritage

The Art of dry stone: knowledge and techniques were included in the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO in 2018. The Geoparc territory has a huge number of huts, walls, vats and other construction elements made with this technique.

These buildings and constructions are present all over the territory and in some municipalities they are real experiences that teach us about the close link between geology and earthwork that have coexisted in the Geoparc for centuries.
