The Geopark is organizing a series of trips to publicize the tourist attractions of the territory between agents

• The first will take place on June 21 in the valleys Montcau To present the UNESCO World Geopark Central Catalonia among tourism stakeholders of the region so that they can recommend to their clients. This is the aim of cycle trips organized by the Geopark which starts on 21 June. The proposal is aimed at professionals of private companies and public organizations in all areas of tourism and accommodation, restaurants, visitor centers, enterprises guidance ... but it is also open to people who want to join them and deeper understanding of the geological heritage of the region. The first departure will be June 21 and will go until Montcau Valley Geopark to see the sea. This route will run along the old fan of San Lorenzo del Munt to enter the sea that covered this area millions of years ago from the Estenalles to Navarcles. It is a solution that combines geology and history to show one of the most important geological areas Geoparks, which contains important tourist attractions. The remaining outlets will be on 12 September, Rajadell; 30 October, Gavarresa, following the route of wine and salt; and 14 November, which Ignatian Way from Montserrat a Manresa. Participation is free but the outputs must register on the website before www.geoparc.cat. The Geopark, sustainable tourism The Geopark Central Catalonia, awarded the Unesco label is one of the main tourist assets of the region and heads the commitment to sustainable tourism and quality. With this cycle, the Geopark aims to promote knowledge of the territory, which has been distinguished worldwide for its unique geology. The organization of the cycle has the support of the Barcelona Provincial Council.
